Apr 11, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm| Free
Infrared photography captures a range of light otherwise inaccessible to human perception. In this solo show, dedicated to 25 years of Peter Le Grand’s luminescent portraits, Le Grand invites you to rediscover tone, texture, and light.
Peter Le Grand is a professor of photography at Columbia College in Chicago, where he teaches courses on lighting, fashion and the nude. He has been published in numerous magazines, including Viewfinder and Nude. Le Grand lives and works in Chicago with his wife Alison Thomson-Le Grand.
The opening reception, from 7-11pm, features live music by jazz-funk band Orange Burn, food (vegan), wine, and garden party, at Armature Art Space, 316 Weirfield Street in Brooklyn, NY (btw. Irving and Knickerbocker Avenues, close to the L Train Halsey Stop). Show remains up through May 10, 2014.
