David J. Steinberg Seminar: Reporting on Race in America

The 2016 David J. Steinberg Seminar features a panel discussion with – Nokole Hannah-Jones, New York Times, winner of the 2015 George Polk Award for Radio Reporting on the white resistance to school immigration in the district bordering Ferguson, Missouri; Jamie Kalven, Invisible Institute, winner of the 2015 George Polk Award for Local Reporting on the shooting death of Laquan McDonald in Chicago; Wesley Lowery, member of the Washington Post’s team which received the 2015 George Polk Award for National Reporting on a comprehensive study of killings by police officers.

The David J. Steinberg Seminar will be moderated by Charlayne Hunter-Gault, award-winning journalist and former PBS News Hour correspondent.
