The City of Songs is a mythical stack of acetate, crumbling shellac, and fresh vinyl reeking of petroleum at the end of a long railroad track. Two idiot clowns, disguised as cowboys and smelling of their own farts, concoct a plan to sing all their songs wrong and get admitted to the fabled city. Here is the record of their journey, immortalized forever in a record album – Songs Against Singing: A Sort of Outlaw Literature as sung by a Choir of Trees.
and following the play, a music festival of off-beat songwriters
