By the eighteenth century, cats had become popular household pets worldwide. From Balthus’ “Cats and Girls” to Philippe Halsman’s “Dali Atomicus” to Internet sensations like Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub, cats are a mainstay of art and popular culture. For one night only, Morgan Avenue Underground celebrates the feline form.
