Brooklyn Symphony plays Verdi, Bruch, Janacek in “Concert for Hope”

For the first concert of its 2015-2016 season, the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra will present Giuseppe Verdi’s “Nabucco” Overture, the orchestral suite from Leos Janacek’s opera “The Cunning Little Vixen”,  and Max Bruch’s Double Concerto in E minor. Violinist J Freivogel and violist Sam Quintal will be the featured soloists. All proceeds will be donated to the Hope Reichbach Fund, which provides fellowships for student interns in civic leadership and grassroots community organizing.
