Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra plays Dvorak, Barber, and Khachaturian

The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra’s April concert will feature soprano Anne-Carolyn Bird performing Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915″, a musical setting of James Agee’s text recalling an evening from his childhood. The program includes Antonin Dvorak’s 7th Symphony and Aram Khachaturian’s 1941 suite for the play “Masquerade”.
