M. LEONA GODIN is a blind writer, performer and doctor of philosophy. She has written and produced two plays: The Star of Happiness, about Helen Keller’s time on vaudeville and The Spectator & the Blind Man, about the very sexy history of the invention of braille. Her writing has recently appeared or is forthcoming in FLAPPERHOUSE, Newtown Literary, O Magazine, and Quail Bell Magazine, where she writes a column called Distill My Heart, about all things aromatic and alcoholic. ANANDA LIMA holds an MA in Linguistics from UCLA. She was a mentee in the AWP Writer to Writer Program and has attended workshops at Bread Loaf, Sewanee and Tin House. She has taught at UCLA and The Montclair State University. Her work has appeared in The American Poetry Review and Escarp. Ananda is currently working on a collection of poems on identity in motherhood and immigration, and a novel set in Brasilia, where she grew up as the daughter of migrants from Northeast Brazil. YESENIA MONTILLA is a New York City poet with Afro-Caribbean roots. Her poetry has appeared in the Chapbook For the Crowns of Your Head, as well as the literary journals 5AM, Adanna, The Wide Shore and others. She received her MFA from Drew University in Poetry and Poetry in Translation She is a CantoMundo Fellow and her first collection The Pink Box is published by Willow Books.
