Bicyclists’ Ball (and Pedestrian Prom)
Aug 14, 2014 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm| $25
Straighten your bowtie and dust off your dancing shoes! Join Transportation Alternatives* for the first-ever Bicyclists’ Ball – New York City’s biggest event for people who love bicycling.
In Downtown Brooklyn, hundreds of New Yorkers will leave their bicycles with the valet** and dance the night away under the lights at Roulette. There will be unlimited beer and wine, live music from Ikebe Shakedown, a silent auction, and, of course, a party packed with passionate people fighting for new networks of bike lanes and safer streets across the city.
No ball gowns required. You can come in a t-shirt, but you can’t get in without a ticket. RSVP today!
*T.A. is New York City’s leading advocacy organization for better biking, walking and public transit. To learn more, visit transalt.org.
**T.A. bike valet is first come, first served. Bring your lock. Citi Bike will provide valet service — a.k.a. unlimited Citi Bike parking — at 3rd Ave & Schermerhorn St. from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
