Alice’s Arbor 5th Anniversary with Free Food, Drinks and Live Music

Brooklyn farm-to-table restaurant Alice’s Arbor is celebrating its 5th anniversary with free food, drinks and entertainment Saturday, May 6.
Complimentary items will include mango-ginger mojitos, appetizers of pulled pork sliders with coleslaw on a fresh-baked potato bun, quinoa salad-stuffed mushrooms, fried mac and cheese squares made with cheddar and goat cheese béchamel, and cowboy fries coated in a signature blend of spices. There will also be live music from 8 p.m.-10 p.m., DJ beats from 10 p.m.-close, and a raffle with prizes.
The restaurant by Dimitri Vlahakis (Motorino, Esperanto) and Director of Operations Eric Goulange, is celebrating five years as a local favorite committed to working with local businesses and farmers to offer fresh cuisine built on close relationships, with European-influenced American cooking from Chef/Partner Mike Franzetti (Palladin, Washington Park, Lupa and Chestnut).
The menu features signature selections from the wood-burning oven, like Sullivan County Farms Trout filet over green beans and roasted fingerling potatoes in a lemon brown butter sauce, topped with almonds and capers. Other favorites are the unique, customizable Mac & Cheese with spiral pasta, cheddar and goat cheese béchamel topped with toasted breadcrumbs, with optional add-ins of pulled pork, truffle oil or jalapeños.
