People usually lavish a lot of attention on the restaurant scene in north Brooklyn, so it’s almost understandable if you meet someone who think that’s all there is when it comes to eating out in Brooklyn. We say “almost understandable” because those fictional dum-dums just have to hop on a subway to Sheepshead Bay for something like this month’s A Taste of Sheepshead Bay to see that south Brooklyn has plenty of delicious food as well. Seriously, buy a ticket and go to this.

For just $30 in advance ($35 the day of), you can snack on food from the very best restaurants in Sheepshead Bay, as curated by the experts over at Sheepshead Bites, on January 23 at 7pm. If you don’t trust us, trust them, this is right in their wheelhouse. We aren’t anyone to pass up gobs of food for a low price, especially when there are unlimited amounts of it ranging from Italian to Uzbeki to Latin American food. So grab a ticket and then eat a light lunch that day, since you’re gonna want to leave some room in your stomach.
