The Brooklyn Arts Exchange is that kind of community venue that we love because it gives you the Space You Need to perform, in addition to providing all sorts of great classes, community services, kids’ programming and more. In a few weeks you can help them while also cleaning out your own closet: BAX is holding a Super Stoop Sale fundraiser Oct. 15-16, and they want your old stuff: baby gear, toys, games, books, DVDs, furniture, electronics, kitchen stuff, household items, hardware and clothing. Let them know what you’ll be donating by Oct. 9 and then you can drop off items up through the days of the sale at 438 3rd St. in Park Slope. Make arrangements for drop-off please email: firstname.lastname@example.org. And then, check out the sale on BAX HQ! Whatever’s left over will go to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
