On this Fourth of July weekend, we don’t have a European Union to declare independence from (and then immediately regret declaring independence from). But let us propose another thing to liberate yourself from: The tyranny of worrying how to get to the beach for the rest of the summer.

We will gladly help you in this revolution, because we’re giving away a season pass to the NYC Beach Bus! The bus is our favorite way to get to the the beaches in Rockaway, Jacob Riis Beach plus Fire Island and Robert Moses Beach. It’s easy to win: All you’ve got to do to enter is take an Instagram, which you’ll probably be doing this weekend anyway.

The NYC Beach Bus, if you don’t know, provides low-cost round-trip rides ($15, $10 one way) to the beach every weekend throughout the summer on an air-conditioned school bus. Each ride comes with a free beer from Sixpoint and Sweetwater, plus Runa tea and other swag too. And if you want to go full on beach bum, they’ve got you covered too: They offer a RentRideReturn service where you can get cheap beach chair and umbrella rentals too. Later this summer, they’re expanding to go to the waterpark at Mountain Creek in NJ (formerly Action Park) and a mysterious Beach Crawl trip too; stay tuned to their site for more info.

TO ENTER:

1) Post an Instagram pic between today and the Fourth of July (that’s Monday, fyi) of your summer adventures, with the hashtags #brokelyn and #nycbeachbus. Make sure to follow us both too if you don’t already, obviously.

2) On the Fourth of July, the fine folks at the NYC Beach Bus will pick one lucky Instagrammer to get free rides to the beach all summer (one ride per week to any of the beaches the bus travels to, good for use at all the pick up spots: Boerum Hill, Williamsburg and Union Square).

3) Ride like a baller to the beach for the rest of the season, no Metrocard or car required.

Don’t forget to be the most stylish person on the bus in one of these brand-new Brokelyn summer tank tops too!
