Beyond the fact that not everyone can have a bunch of subway tiles for kitchen backsplash, how could you not want something in your apartment that reminds you of the subway day after day. The delightful, stress-free, clean and temperate subway. Even if the tiles turn out to be grody, who cares! Authenticity is the order of the day around here, and nothing is more authentic than a subway tile from 1920 with 100-year-old subway grit stuck on it. The influenza germs on it are probably dead anyway.
