From today’s Featured Rental Steals: a 4BR apartment in Prospect Heights for $2,450. There was some commenter debate on a previous cheap apartments post on what actually is affordable in BK these days, but at just over $600 a bedroom, there’s not much to argue about here. Especially when you get:

Large living room and eat-in kitchen. Windows, closets and storage in every room. Plenty of privacy. Cats are welcome. Neighborhood filled with amenities! Easy walk to Grand Army Plaza and the 2,3,4,5 and S trains. Big, beautiful, furnished yard available to share as well. File photos of a comparable unit in the building.

Other well-priced offerings in our listings include: a 3BR in Bed Stuy for $1,500, a 2.5 BR new renovation in Sunset Park for $1,850 and a 2BR in Kensington with a private roof porch, $1850, complete with city views. Maybe we’ll see you here in a couple of months? >>

“File photos of a comparable unit in building.”…..Oh OK. So this place is a dump-bordering-on-fire-hazard and you’re showing me the beautifully renovated place at triple the price 2 floors up to trick me. Great deal!

My guess is that this is in Crown Heights anyway.
