Coming soon to the library: tacos! via Facebook Food trucks are a new way of life around here. Well, maybe not that new, but they’ve certainly been an inescapable part of life in Brooklyn for awhile. And that’s great, because food should come to you. And with the weather warming up, the library knows just how to take advantage of the food truck craze: hosting one a week at their central location for a month, starting tomorrow. Welcome, to Lunchapalooza! Every Wednesday from 11:30am to 1:30pm, the central branch of the Brooklyn Public Library (10 Grand Army Plaza), will host a different food truck outside of the library. While us 20-somethings are running about acting like drunk babies, apparently there are actual babies in this borough too (some drunk, some not), and they need something to do, dammit. And that’s why the BrooklynKnight, the Nets’ official superhero, is visiting the Brooklyn Children’s Museum this Sunday at 1:30. Last year’s P-Tech robotics team, via Facebook If you weren’t too busy taking in some burlesque to watch the State of the Union last night, you may have heard President Obama name-check a little something called  P-Tech High School in Crown Heights. P-Tech (Pathways in Technology) is a two-year-old experimental early college high school run by a collaboration of city public schools, CUNY and IBM, in which high schoolers graduate in six years with a dual high school diploma and associate bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
