We know, it’s like, “Hey man, let us PAY for our entertainment, you’re making it too easy.” Well, bad news for those of you intent on paying: Habana Outpost‘s typically excellent Sunday summer movie schedule just landed on our inbox, and guess what? It’s a bunch of free excellent movies. The movies run every Sunday starting at 8pm from now through October, which is just freaking awesome. We recommend getting there earlier than that though, if you don’t want to have to stand for two freaking hours while eating your Cuban sandwich and drinking your margarita. Though if you can do that while standing, we salute you. Anyway, the schedule: May 26: Purple Rain June 2: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off June 9: Salsa June 16: National Lampoon’s Vacation June 23: White Men Can’t Jump June 30: The Outsiders July 7: Say Anything… Read More

We’re all planning on wasting a beautiful late spring/early summer day to binge watch the episodes. You uh, you are, right? It’s not just us? But if you need something more, if you need Arrested Development inside you, why not drop $45 on an AD-themed tasting menu at Clinton Hill’s Three Letters? Hm? No, we have no problem with that. The tasting menu will be served on Sunday, May 26, which sadly is also the day of the premiere of the new episodes. SO you’ll have to make a pretty tough choice: stuff yourself with (corn) balls or lay in bed and binge on AD. If you do choose you need to “eat” for some reason, and you have money to throw away on things that aren’t necessities, you can call (718)622-4679 for a reservation.
