Attention campers: The Salute Your Jorts! Brokelyn Summer Camp Party has been pushed back a week to Thursday, June 28th (mostly to accommodate the fact that we all want to go to Deer Tick in Red Hook Park on June 21). Also, with great thanks to Good Co., we have decided to move to a larger venue, Crown Victoria on S. 2nd and Wythe (so much room for activities!) in Wiliamsburg.
Not only is it the start of summer, but it’s also our third birthday party. Festivities start at 7pm, and you’ll want to get there promptly (if not early) to take advantage of the FREE BEER open bar awesomely provided by Brooklyn Brewery from 7-8pm. Crown Vic’s bartenders are brewing up a special Bug Juice cocktail that will be $4 all night long. Plus much more, including a BRAND NEW BIKE we’re giving away!
Brokelyn’s counselors have been busy planning games, activities, and tournaments and recruiting a long list of amazing prizes for our legendary raffle donated by some of Brooklyn’s best businesses including mini-getaways, booze packages, wardrobe improvement swag, and a shiny new bike from Ride Brooklyn. Full list of sponsors coming soon but HUGE thanks to everyone involved so far.
We will be collecting $3 bucks at the door to help support continued hilarity from Brokelyn’s (all-volunteer) writers. Use the side door entrance on Wythe.
