What is it: Brooklyn Fireproof is a coffee shop during the day turned bar at night with a nice performance space/ screening venue.
Why we love it: The picnic tables in Brooklyn Fireproof’s large outdoor area are a great place to grab a beer with a few friends, especially in the nice weather.
Who to bring: If you’re a freelancer, you should bring yourself. There is plenty of space, free wi-fi, light flowing in and it is quiet during the day so you can do what you do while enjoying a beer or McKenzie’s Hard Cider (hard cider is a totally appropriate day drink).
What to order: Stuffed jalapenos and a $5 beer + shot combo.
