Anything can go down in a variety show
It’s the day after Valentine’s Day, and that’s a crap day. But not this year! Brokelyn’s Beth Hoyt (of the NutSackett) is co-hosting a new show with Trish Nelson in Williamsburg. It’s called A Big Effing Deal, and it’s not just your traditional stand-up; this weekly event promises everything from stand-up and storytelling to large dance numbers and aerial tricks. Tonight’s show, A Big Effing Valentine, features Ben Lerman (ECNY 2011 nominee for best musical comedy act) and Brooke Van Poppelen (ECNY 2011 nominee for best female stand-up). And more.
